Since 2013 (AB 110), a dog in Nevada can’t be declared dangerous or vicious based solely on breed — and local ordinances can’t do so either.

Insurance protected

SB 103 (effective Jan 1, 2022) prohibits insurers from refusing, cancelling, non-renewing or raising rates on homeowners, renters, mobile-home and umbrella policies based solely on breed.
